We are beyond excited to invite you to join the South Carolina Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (SCNSPRA) for 2025-26!
SCNSPRA provides invaluable insight, experience and assistance. Members know they can always reach out to their SCNSPRA colleagues for help, and I am honored to serve as the chapter's president this year. The relationships we build and support we provide each other are invaluable, and together we help support public education!
The SCNSPRA Executive Board diligently began work thissummerto plan meetings, conferences, and other offeringsforthe membership this year. Our chapter activities are designed to provide you with assistance and resourcesto grow as a communications professional and are a direct result of your feedback and requests.
Your membership in SCNSPRA provides:
- Conferences and professional development opportunitiesthroughout the year.
- Accessto SCNSPRA's member Google group for emergency help, networking, questions and information sharing.
- Financial assistance for membersseeking professional accreditation (APR).
- Accessto online school PR resources through the Chapter's website (www.scnspra.org), social media (@scnspra), and our discussion email group.
- SCNSPRA's Rewardsfor Excellence Program that recognizes outstanding communications and public relations efforts by schools, districts and educational agencies and associations.
- Webinars and Lunch & Learns
For 2025-26, SCNSPRA already has a variety of offerings planned for its members:
- SCNSPRA Kick-Off Meeting on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Fort Mill School District
- SCNSPRA and NCSPRA Joint Fall Conference November 3-5, 2025 Hilton Head, SC The Beach House Resort Theme: Road Trip (Tuesday night Tailgate Party)
- Winter Chapter Workshop, January 23, 2026 in Camden, SC at Woolard Technology Center
- SCNSPRA's Rewardsfor Excellence Program Awards Luncheon on May 1, 2026 in Columbia, SC.
- SCNSPRA Communicator of the Year and Administrator of the Year Communications Awards.
