By now, you’ve probably heard about the upcoming NCSPRA-SC/NSPRA Fall Conference, to be held October 25-27 at the Hilton Garden Inn Asheville Downtown.
We have arranged several great presentations for you, leading off with Tom DeLapp! Tom is perennially one of the most sought-after speakers in school public relations, and if you’ve seen him before, you already know why. Our conference will be one of Tom’s first stops after launching his term as NSPRA President.
Among everyone’s concerns right now are the upcoming ADA compliance requirements for district websites. We have arranged to hear from Megan Ballard, an attorney with the Office for Civil Rights at the US Department of Education, who will offer tips and advice on the compliance process.
We have several other presentations planned that you’ll hear about in the near future. And, because we’re NCSPRA and SC/NSPRA, we’re going to have a lot of fun while we’re there.
Our hosts at the Hilton Garden Inn Asheville Downtown, one of Asheville’s newest hotels, have provided a discounted nightly rate of $179 per night. To get that rate, you can call the hotel directly at 828-255-0001 OR use this link:
If you’d like to make a long weekend of it, discounts for Friday and Saturday nights are also available using the above link. All hotel registrations must be completed by September 25th to get the discounted rate.
When returning your registration form and payment, please confirm that your finance office has our new mailing address (see signature below) to avoid delays in processing.
The NCSPRA Board of Directors has worked very hard to make this a conference to remember. We hope to see you in Asheville!
